We are now recruiting for a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor who is totally customer focused and that will consistently deliver excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

This is a “hands on role” and the successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of all conference and events from start to finish.

As our Conference & Banqueting Supervisor you will:

Provide cover for the Conference & Banqueting Manage in their absence.

Ensure consistent delivery of superior customer service and that the department creates a professional impression to customers and team members.

Be responsible for the correct set up of the conference/banqueting space.

Positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise sales revenue and exceed budgeted sales targets for the department.

Act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility, to include customer complaints and compliments.

Carry out planned training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual team members personal development.

Comply with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Licensing Laws, Disability and ensure all employment legislation is strictly adhered to.

Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role and must be able to demonstrate they can work with minimum supervision and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
