2011 Wedding Packages

Your wedding breakfast plays an important part in your day and our Head Chef and his team take great pride to ensure that dishes are freshly cooked and attractively presented to the highest possible standard. Naturally these menus ae only our suggestions. Should you have a favourite dish we would be happy to discuss this with our Head Chef.

Please select one of the following packages, and from that package choose one starter, one main and one dessert for the whole party.

Starters

  • Cream of tomato and basil pesto soup
  • Fresh water prawns, tomato and brandy mayonnaise, wholemeal bread
  • Ham hock and apricot terrine, piccalilli, ciabatta toast
  • Melon, mixed berry compote
  • Beef tomato, mozzarella, rocket and basil salad, aged balsamic

 Mains (all served with a selection of market vegetables)

  • Poached chicken supreme, creamed potato, sun blushed tomato, tarragon infused jus
  • Loin of pork, bubble and squeak, carrot vichyssoise, apple sauce
  • Salmon fillet, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, new potato, oriental dressing
  • Roast turkey, chestnut seasoning, kilted sausage, pan gravy, chateau potato

  • Butternut squash soup, truffle oil
  • Traditional smoked salmon, caper, shallot and citrus dressing 
  • Parma ham, fig, celeriac remoulade, asparagus spears
  • Roasted vegetable and goat's cheese tartlet, red pepper pesto and mixed baby leaves

Mains (all served with a selection of market vegetables)

  • Roast leg of lamb studded with garlic, boulangere potato, cauliflower polonaise, thyme jus
  • Breast of chicken, fondant potato, wild mushroom and garlic cream sauce, mixed greens
  • Rib eye of beef, honey roast parsnips, oyster mushroom sauce, chateau potato
  • Cod fillet, saffron potato, braised fennel, bouillabaisse sauce
  • Plaice fillet, crushed new potato, mornay sauce, cabbage and spinach dumplings

  • Roast sirloin of beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potato, pan gravy, seasonal vegetables
  • Saddle of lamb, basil mousse, ratatouille, crushed new potato
  • Seared sea bass, new potatoes, stir fried pak choi, chilli and coriander salsa
  • Corn fed chicken supreme, asparagus spears, fondant potato, morel cream sauce
  • Paupiette of sole, smoked salmon mousse, fetuccini vegetables, dill cream sauce, fondant potato
